Sakura Porsche Cup

The Sakura Porsche Cup is a tightly controlled class, suitable for both beginners and experienced racers. The idea of the class is to provide very close racing, on a controlled budget.


  1. All cars must be the 3Racing Sakura Zero S built as per kit, with the following exceptions:
    Ride height (changed with the clip in spacers)
    Wheel hexes may be modified, or replaced with equivalent part. 
  2. Shock position must be as per the book.
  3. All cars must be running a fixed timing Hobbywing 17.5 brushless motor and Justock 45A ESC combination.
  4. All cars must be built with the 80t spur (provided in the kit), and a 32t pinion (not provided).
  5. All cars must be running a HPI Porsche 190mm shell (HPI part# 7335).
  6. All cars must be running the same Turnigy 4000mah 30C lipo.
  7. There is no minimum weight.
  8. Tires can be any Team Sorex or Ride 1/10 touring slicks.
  9. Tyre inserts are open.
  10. No traction compound or warmers are permitted.

  • HPI Porsche 911 Turbo Body (190mm wide) - Max Power RC
  • 32T 48P Pinion Gear -
  • Wheels
  • Tyres
  • Tyre Inserts
  • 2 Channel Radio gear of your choice (a 2.4GHz radio is highly recommended)
  • Steering Servo of your choice
  • LiPo Battery Charger of your choice - Max Power RC Russell Vale
  • Battery connectors (Most people in the club use T-Connectors, also known as deans plugs)
  • Paint for the body shell (Tamiya spray cans are the easiest option)
  • 1.5mm an 2mm Hex drivers to assemble the car kit -
